You know how it goes…its Sunday night and your child suddenly needs construction paper, or glue sticks for their project due on Monday… Running out at the last minute wastes valuable time, and interrupts the things you are doing at the moment. You can change that!
Buy some extra school supplies at the start of the school year and create a mini supply closet, just like an office would have. Teach your kids where it is, and make it their responsibility to restock their backpacks and use those supplies for projects. Also have them get in the habit of telling you when they are running low on a particular item before you run out and it is an emergency.
