Install a programmable thermostat. This will allow you to heat and cool your home without taking the time to make adjustments daily. By allowing your heat or air conditioning to work less during the hours you are asleep or away from home, you will save money. Setting your thermostat to 72 in the summer and 68 in the winter can save you 10% per year.
