August is Back to Organizing Basics- The Launch Pad

Create a launch pad.  This is an area by the door where you place items like mail, your purse, keys and anything you need to go out the next day.  Mount a key rack on the wall, utilize a coat rack, and give your kids a permanent place for their school bags.  There are lots of great pieces of inexpensive furniture you can use in an entryway.  Check out stores like Target and Ikea for great ideas.  When things are ready to go out the door, you don’t forget to grab them.
