August is Back to Organizing Basics- Pick(a few to keep)asso

August 24, 2010 • Uncategorized

Too much kid’s artwork?  Have your kids write a quick letter to a relative, and mail them both the letter and the artwork.  To you it may be clutter, but to a relative who doesn’t see your kids often, or have any of their artwork, it may be a treasure.  Also, you could use your kid’s artwork as wrapping paper around the holidays.  If you’ve tried that and still have too much, pick a few memorable pieces at the end of the year to save, and recycle the rest.

There is a saying, “What gets written down gets attended to, and what gets attended to gets done.”

Write down your organizing goals and hold yourself accountable for completing them.

I know it seems like a big chore, but you’ll be glad you did it once you’re done!
