Favorite Thing Friday-ECards

We are all super busy and birthdays, events, etc all tent to sneak up on us.  And although we all love receiving cards, te sad fact of the matter is that most end up in the trash.

Start thinking about eCards.  While they used to be simple and difficult to send, they have come a long way in recent years.  There are personalized cards available, many with popular characters (like the Peanuts gang), and ones you can even add your photos to.

Some of ecards’ best features are that they are quick and easy to send, and really inexpensive (if not free).  Some sites such as Hallmark, offer a premium service that gives you access to premium cards for an annual fee of about $10.  While many people think of that as expensive, compare that to what you would purchase actual cards at a store for.  In most cases $10 would only get you one or two cards.

There are also tons of funny card sites out there.  One of my favorites is SomeeCards.com.

And because ecards are so quick and easy to send, they are a great thing to send just because.  If a coworker is having a bad day, send them a card.  If someone is doing a great job, send them a card.  A small effort on your part can make all the difference in the world.  Who doesn’t love a fun surprise in their in bin?
