I know what you’re saying, how can digital photos, that have been around so long, be one of my favorite things? Well its all what you do with them. So many of my clients have lots of digital photos, but they have never made it off their memory cards. I tell them that the key to success is getting them off the memory card as quickly as possible after the event. Then, share them. That is why we take digital photos after all, the ease of sharing and storage.
One of my favorite places to organize and handle my photos is Costco.com. They offer a printing service for digital photos. You can pick them up in a store, or have them mailed to you. And the best part is they are CHEAP! My Publisher also offers a really cool service. They publish photo books designed by you. These books can be put together with simple software. Each page can hold a LOT of photos, therefore cutting down on costs and increasing your ability to tell a story with your photos. Many books even allow you to add captions. iPhoto for Macs also allows you to design and order books.
These services make it quick and easy to share your digital photos. The best part is, they make it super easy to give photos (and books) as gifts! Who doesn’t love to receive photos as a gift? With the holidays coming up, its the perfect time!
