Not So Favorite Thing Friday-Lululemon

I get asked a lot by my clients about where I get my clothes, what I like etc.  That’s how Favorite Thing Friday started.

Although this is unrelated to organizing, I want to share my favorite athletic apparel store with you.  It can be found here:

They have adorable athletic clothing, much of it catered to a particular sport (such as yoga or running).  However, that’s not what I love about this company.  Its the fact that I can go from my run, to the grocery store, all while looking cute.  In these clothes I can run into a client and not cringe.  I’m comfy and stylish at the same time.

And the quality is awesome.  I am rough on my clothes to say the least.  Wash after wash these retain their shape and color.  They are worth the price and one of the best parts about ordering from them is the free shipping, on everything!  And don’t forget to check out their online sale section!

Well I wrote this review when I was in love with their products.  I since discovered a wear spot on one of my pairs of pants.  i immediately contacted them to obtain a replacement item.  They told me to send photos of the tear.  When I did, they then said it was unclear if it was a wear issue.  At this point, I had already sent about five emails, back and forth.  The only option presented with was to call to obtain a return authorization, then mail the pants back to Vancouver at my cost.  They would then be evaluated, and IF it was determined that they felt they should replace the pants, they would do so.  However, the time and cost of this was going to be at least a few hours and a significant cost.  So instead, I’m simply going to take my business else where.  I’ve already placed an order with Running Warehouse.  They have some great running clothes and FREE TWO DAY SHIPPING!  So I don’t have to wait for my items to arrive.  I am switching companies.  And despite all of the reusable shopping bags Lululemon has sent to me, I’m not going to be using them, because I think there is nothing worse than poor customer service.
