Acure Organics Review

April 30, 2012 • Uncategorized

We all need to be a little bit more green and clean in our lives and Acure organics can help you with that.  Their organic life if health and beauty products can green up your daily routine.

The first product I tried was the Pure Mint and Echinacea Stem Cell Shampoo.  The shampoo smells amazing.  And it works great too.  I do a lot of working out and organizing in dusty spaces so my hair needs lots of tender loving care from me.  However, because I wash it a lot, I like shampoos that clean while not stripping.  I loved the way my hair smelled after I used the shampoo too and the next morning, my hair still felt clean and smelled great.  I didn’t try the conditioner but I think it would add a softness  to the clean.

The next product I tried was luxurious.  I mean, it felt like I had gone to the spa.  Its called Lavender and Lotus Flower Lotion (w/ omega 3’s).  Once again it smelled amazing.  I mean I just kept smelling the bottle!  It went on easy and creamy. It was easy to rub in, however it moisturized very well and my legs didn’t dry out as the day went on.  This is a great lotion to use before bed.  It will keep you moisturized all night and the smell is calming and wonderful.  It comes in a 7ox bottle which would last you quite some time.

I’ve saved my favorite product for last.  Its Acure’s BRightening Scrub Sea Kelp Scrub.  The dark green color will take you by surprise, but the texture is amazing.  It exfoliates, but its not too harsh.  When you’re done washing your face with this, it feel sparkly clean and refreshed like you’re just spring cleaned.  I love this product.  It says that for best results you should use it three times per week.  It feels so great, it will be tough to only use it that often!

Acure is a family company and they use fair trade, organic, sustainable ingredients in their products.  You’d expect to pay a lot for these products but they aren’t any more expensive than what you’d buy at the drugstore.  (About $10 each).

Their products are also free from animal testing, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, harmful preservatives and artificial colors.
