I wanted to let you know about Strong and Sculpted, a new workout video from Canyon Ranch. This video was shot in the desert in Tuscon and offers three distinct workouts; core, yoga and strength. Each workout is about 20 minutes in length, more if you add a cool down period.
What I like about the video is that you can do all three workouts in a row for one complete session, or you can break them up into three separate workouts. The latter would be great for someone who is just starting to work out and doesn’t have the stamina to do an hour long workout all at once. Its also great for busy moms or others who may only have a few minutes in the morning or at night to squeeze something in.
The video is challenging, yet calming and all of the moves are explained thoroughly. While the video won;t give you a ton of options or a life time of workouts, its a great DVD to have on hand for a rainy day or just to mix things up a little bit. I like the idea of taking this DVD with me to travel and do in my hotel rooms.
