Spice It Up

July 29, 2013 • Uncategorized

Spices are a necessary part of cooking. However, keeping them fresh, organized and ready to grab and use can be difficult. They fall to the back of the cabinet or get pushed to the back of the drawer.

Use some of these spice organizing tools to make sure you are ready to spice it up! Click on a picture if you see something you like.

If you like to keep your spices in a drawer, use an organizer like this so you can see and grab everything without shuffling.

A modren twist on the traditional spice rack, this won’t take up much space on your counter and looks sleek and contemporary.

Possibly my all time favorite spice solution, these container affix to the special plate that come with the kit, or to the front of your fridge. These take up no counter space, look adorable, and allow your spices to stay fresh.

When you open a spice, it is important to write the date on the jar some where. Spices don’t stay good forever. To make sure you have the freshest ingredients, keep track of when you need to replace spices and seasonings.
