Live Your Best Life

January 9, 2014 • Home Organizing Tips, Uncategorized

As we are in the month of new beginnings and resolutions, I wanted to take a moment to give you permission to take time to think about yourself, do something for yourself and to live the life you have always wanted.

Give yourself permission this year to make time for yourself.  Make time to accomplish the things you’ve always wants to do.  Write down your goals and then write down some steps you can take every day to move towards meeting those goals.  If you want to lose weight, you can spend 10 minutes a day working out (or more).  If you want to get organized, start by looking around the house and seeing what you can donate.  Want to go back to school?  Make some calls and see who has a program in your area.

Don’t worry about what others think of you or what you think may be impossible.  Believing in yourself and the possibility of your dreams is the best thing you can do.  Start today and dream big.

If you have kids, you want them know that they can accomplish anything and goals are important.  A goal without a plan is just a dream.  So make your goals measurable and assign yourself dates and mini milestones.  Remind yourself often via calendar, email or even Post Its on the mirror what you need to do every day to work towards you goals.  Make appointments with yourself and keep them.  You are as important as the other appointments you keep!

Amazing

And most importantly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

There is a saying, “What gets written down gets attended to, and what gets attended to gets done.”

Write down your organizing goals and hold yourself accountable for completing them.

I know it seems like a big chore, but you’ll be glad you did it once you’re done!
