March Edition~New and Great Organizing Products (and Giveaway!)

This may not be a revolutionary product, but everyone needs note paper.  And, if you’re going to carry around paper, it might as well be pretty!  Studio Oh has an adorable line of journals.  I was able to try out and take a peek at the Wildflower set.  They are just the right size to fit in a purse, glove box, work bag or even diaper bag.  You can just down your shopping lists, to do lists and even keep contact information in a pretty little book.  I like that they come in threes so you can place them wherever you need paper!  Check them out on their site here.

Everyone needs a little more space.  I have started putting up magnetic strips for a lot of my clients.  These little strips can fit in a tight space under shelves or right above a computer monitor.  Then you can use magnets to hang to do lists, photos, memos,etc.  Finding small and effective magnets an be tough.  So while magnets aren’t revolutionary, I wanted to share an adorable set with you by Poochie-Pets.  These magnets are part of their Live in Dog Years series and they depict dogs doing all sorts of things human SHOULD do, such as; sniff often, play nicely, rest easy, dig deeper, listen intently and love.  They also make a great gift.  They come in their own plastic display box so they are ready to wrap!

Okay this isn’t an organizing product per se.  However, it will help you eat a little healthier on the go.  Amazing Grass has an entire line of energy bars, super foods and instant protein shakes and drink mixes that make getting in all your vegetables easy, and yummy.

I love the Amazing Meals.  They are powders that you can mix with your favorite type of milk.  I like to add in some ice cubes and put it in the blender and it feels like a milk share.  However, it’s loaded with vitamins and protein.  If you’re tired of tricking your kids into eating vegetables you can give them on of their Superfoods….simply mix with water and it tastes like a mixed drink.

These are awesome for in between school and soccer practice, when you’re traveling for business, or racing out the door in the morning.  So it’s not an organizing product, but it helps you eat healthier and get in all of your vitamins, minerals and protein on the go.

Penny-Wise has quickly become one of my go to places for buying office supplies for my clients.   Here are a few of my picks for March.

These poly envelopes are a great multi tasker.  I use them to hold documents I need long term.  Car records, pet records, medical papers, warrantees, tax documents and even manuals.  They are inexpensive and easy to grab and go when you need to.  These are also great for receipts and to create a mobile office-just add stamps, address labels, a notepad, pens and checks!

Cut down on desk clutter with the Post-It Desk Organizer.  It holds a set of Post-It notes so you always have the size and color you need close by.  It also holds a 4×6 photo.  Personalize your desk without cluttering it!  I love that it’s weighted so it doesn’t move around when you use it.

If you have documents that need to be stored under cover, these envelopes do the trick.  They are easily label able and expand to about an inch so you can carry lots inside.  These are great for sensitive medical documents, wills, and financial information.  Even if you have a filing system, these are great to organize within your organization. They also close tightly with a string system.  And they are adorable!

I’m always on the lookout for non toxic cleaners that actually work.  Our kids and pets crawl all over our floors and we often even eat off of our surfaces.  So finding something to clean with that is as good for us as it is for the Earth (and effective at cleaning!) isn’t easy.  I was recently able to try out their Shark Kit.  .  The kit includes a microfiber cloth (that can be used over and over again and washed), and the following items:
