The Life Organizer~A Book Review

May 29, 2014 • Home Organizing Tips, Reviews, Time Management Tips

If you’re looking for a book to help you change your perspective and live a little more mindfully, check out The Life Organizer by  Jennifer Louden.

This book provides you with tips and stories to pause your current way of thinking.  It allows you to stop and think about the things you do, why you do them and what you might want to change.

It doesn’t do all of this through a series of tasks you must perform, like other books.  It asks YOU questions and makes you think about what you need to do every single week to live the life you want.  It’s similar to organizing-as you need to make mindful choices every single day and take those small steps in order to reach your larger long term goal.

You can write in the book itself or you can create your own notebook or even design a printable.  I searched Pinterest for a Printable I could convert to record every week’s questions.  Then, I put it into a binder.  It’s protected so it will last a whole year.  You can start the questions at any time, so no need to wait until January!

The book is important.  It requires you to take time for yourself.  Focus on your goals, and your happiness and don’t feel shellfish about doing it!  The book is a great exercise for every woman and this books makes a great gift!

I’ll report back soon on my progress in the book’s questions.

Buy the book on Amazon here.

There is a saying, “What gets written down gets attended to, and what gets attended to gets done.”

Write down your organizing goals and hold yourself accountable for completing them.

I know it seems like a big chore, but you’ll be glad you did it once you’re done!
