I am all about having things delivered to my door. If I can find it cheaper online and they will save me time and gas on driving around to find something, I love that! 800razors.com sells high quality razors that are delivered to your door. They are much less expensive than the razors you find at the store and buying in bulk also makes sure you always have what you need on hand. Check out their whole election here.
Spectrum Products has some pretty awesome organizing supplies. I have spent a lot of time on their website 🙂 Here, I’ll show you some of my favorites:
The Small Scoop Basket is awesome for just about any area of your home. It’s retro design is fully functional for a bathroom, office, pantry or even a playroom. It’s affordable and it’s open design allows you to see the contents. This is a great option for any space that needs a little clutter control!
The Sweep Wall Mount Rack is a stylish way to use vertical space. It’s unique design fits into even a small space. This is great for kid’s clothes, sports uniforms, coats or towels. For under $10, it’s an organizing steal!
I’m always talking about creating a “coffee and tea station”. Contain all of those sugar packets with this adorable little organizer. It comes in adorable diner inspired colors (white, black and red) and it’s cute little handle allows you to grab it and move it to the table, counter and back.
The last Spectrum product I want to tell you about is their Flower Shapes Round Fruit Bowl. It’s the perfect way to get the clutter off your kitchen counters and keep it all in one place. These bowls are awesome for fruit, potatoes, onions, snacks, bread and more. Keep everything where you can see it, (and eat it!).
Okay if you’re looking for some great organizing reading but don’t have a ton of time on your hands, check out Lee Silber’s Show and Tell Organizing. This book clearly depicts 50 techniques to use in your home or office. Unlike other books, it’s easy to read, and each step can be implemented quickly. Large photos give you an idea of what you are doing and trying to accomplish. It’s a great book to get you started on the path of organization this summer!
Sometimes a good to do list makes all the difference in what you can accomplish during the day. I was recently lucky enough to try out some of Knock Knock’s To Do pads. They are fun, eye catching and oh so functional. I love the Hand Lettered To Do Pad. It gives you places to record errands, tasks, correspondence (my weakness!) and notes. You can write in the date, due date and even topic. The note pad has check boxes so you can check off your accomplishments.
Also check out their To Do/To Buy Note Pad that allows you to write lists and then rip it down the center and take it with you. These make great teacher gifts for the end of the year. Have one of these pads in your office, the car and the kitchen so you never miss a thing!
If you work anywhere besides a desk, you could use a flat surface to protect yourself from the heat of your laptop and protect your laptop from over heating. I also like to have a little more surface area when I’m working outside of my office. Lap Gear has some awesome solutions. Their Deluxe Notebook Lapdesk has a massive work area, non-slip grip, wrist support, dual channel lap cushion, 2 zippered side pockets and a built-in carry handle. Serious work (and play) calls for a serious desk. Whether you work on a laptop or tablet, this desk has it all.
Hang a lot of jewelry in a little spade with Emitation’s Hanging Jewelry Organizer. It’s 30 clear pockets hold all of your bracelets, necklaces and earrings and it all hangs in the amount of space a shirt takes up in your closet. This is an awesome way to organize all of your jewelry so it stays dust free and best of all, it’s easy to use and grab in the mornings when you’re rushing to get ready. For less than $15, you won’t find a better deal on an organizer like this one.
Okay everyone needs a good tote bag. But why not carry a tote bag that does good for you? The Elephant Story offers some amazing bags, including their signature tote bag. It comes in three colors, has a sturdy handle and fold down small enough to tuck it into a smaller pocket or bag. The best part is that The Elephant Story supports the conservation of elephants and the prevention of deforestation. They also offer a wide range of hand crafted and one of a kind items.
I love this next item in both the kitchen and the bath. It’s an over cabinet door basket from Brylane Home. It’s cute enough to have in plain sight and it’s super functional as well. I love this in a bathroom to hold hair brushes, styling tools and all of the other things that clutter up the vanity. It’s also great for getting kids involved in the getting ready and clean up process. This is also great in a kitchen for cleaner, a towel and sponges. It also allows your sponge to dry too! For only $9.99 (at the time I’m writing this), this is an organizational winner.
