This project was so much fun and so easy, I had to share it with you. Plaid Crafts very nicely sent me some Martha Stewart stencils and paints in assorted colors. I was inspired and I wanted to create something beautiful, but useful. I know that these stencils can be used for LOTS of things, but I wanted to start small.
I found these amazing little notebooks from Little Gorda Studio and off I went! The notebooks are small enough to fit into a purse, large enough to record all your lists and thoughts. Even plain they are amazing. They come in kraft and white. I simply took the stencils, laid them out on the covers of the notebooks and used the stencil dabber to fill them in. I created a paint palette on a paper plate.
When I was done, I simply washed out the paint dabbers and washed off the stencils. I let them try and then put them right back on the sheet they came on. The adhesive still works beautifully. So what did I create? Here they are!
