I’ve received samples of some of these products in order to be able to write these reviews. All opinions are my own and are not influenced in any way.  

This month I want to focus on some products that solve problems you have on a daily basis.  These aren’t problems that make your life horrible, but solving them would make life easier.

Meal planning is all about having great meals to cook.  If you get one new cookbook this year, make it Oh She Glows.  We all want to eat healthier.  This cook book is full of unique, delicious and easy recipes made with vegans in mind (no animal products).  The recipes are so flavorful and they aren’t complex or hard to make at all.  I love that they include ingredients you have in your pantry already.  (no running around to specialty food stores required).  Oh She Glows gives you a creative kick to bring healthy foods to your family.  Even kids will love these dishes.  The book is filled with beautiful pictures and instructions that are easy to follow.  There are no complex tools or techniques used.  These are dishes you’ll eat over and over again and love every time.  

If you are a runner or workout regularly, carrying the necessary accessories can be a challenge.  Every shirt and pair of pants you wear is a bit different and every day you need to find out how to store your phone, music device, headphones and keys.  The D Belt is a fabric belt that you wrap around your waist, over your current workout gear.  It has two pockets and allows you to store everything you need.  It’s flexible and stretchy.  However, I suggest you order a size up.  I’m about a size six and the medium/large fit great. I like that it’s dark colored to avoid showing dirt and when need be, it can be tossed in the wash.

Keeping your electronics charged on the go can ensure your safety, increase productivity and make your day more enjoyable.  However, since we constantly use our devices, it’s sometimes hard to make sure they remain charged.  Tylt hastwo products I really like to be able to help you stay powerful.  Their Energi Sliding Power Case is a phone case that you use in place of a decorative case.  It up to doubles your battery life of your phone.  (It does come with both a black and red shell so you can personalize it.)  I love that this is something you can just carry with you every day and never have to think twice about!  It’s not too heavy either and also protects your phone from damage.Tylt also have a Energi 5k+ power pack that can charge up to three devices at a time.  It’s super slim and fairly light weight so this can go anywhere with you. It’s perfect to keep in your work bag or at your desk.   It is rechargeable and has an embedded lightening cable, a USB port and a micro USB port so the whole family can charge whatever they need to.  This is great for a road trip or family vacation too!The fall is a great time of year to organize your kids’ rooms.  With the influx of back to school clothes and the toys that will come to you with the upcoming holidays, it’s a great time to install shelving, donate the old and get organized.  An organized bedroom also makes getting dressed in the morning’s easier!  Check out ABC Baby Furniture’s line of mobile book cases.  They come in various colors and they feature different animals (Rabbit, Lion and Bear and Espresso, Cherry, Natural Maple, White, and Black)  I love the white bunny in particular.  They roll so you can move them around as you wish and they are super sturdy.  Made in the USA these will be with you for years to come.  Awesome for books, toys, frames and so much more, I love these double sided shelves!

Taking snacks, waters and beverages with you can save you time and money and help you eat healthier than buying things on the go.  This does require a little preparation and the right gear.  I am smitten with Thirty One’s Picnic Thermal Tote.  It’s just the right size for a few drinks, some sandwiches and some drinks.  Not too big and not too small this can easily fit on the floor of the back seat, and hold enough food for your whole family.  It’s adorable and comes in lots of fun patterns.  It has an adjustable strap so you can carry it out to the soccer field or to a picnic spot.  It’s easily wipeable when it gets dirty and it even folds down for easy storage.  I like keeping this in the car at all times.  You can keep groceries cold on their way home from the store!

Any closet shelf can be made more organized with one of G.U.S.’ Sweater Bins.  They keep stacks of sweaters, pants and shirts in a nice neat stack.  They allow you to clearly see what you have and to grab it when you want to wear it.  The front of the container folds down so you can access even the item on the bottom of the pile with ease.  It comes in lots of colors too! (Nine at the time I’m writing this.)  These are a great way to help kids keep their closets neat. It’s also an inexpensive way to add organization to plain shelving.

Making sure you have enough energy to finish your tasks is probably one of the most organized things you can do.  I’ve tried a lot of gels and gus and let’s say they leave a lot to be desired.  I’ve also been worried about the about of chemicals and preservatives in them.  I was recently able to try Pocket Fuel, a new energy gel that is made from all natural ingredients and tastes amazing. The flavors are pretty darn awesome and range from Banana Blueberry to Java Energy Shot.  They are made in the USA and available in single serve packets or a large container that you can use to refill smaller containers.  The best part, is they taste amazing.  They don’t give you a sugar bump, they actually sustain you.  While these are awesome for long hikes, runs and fitness classes….they are also amazing when you’re on the go and just plain tired and hungry.

I’m always looking for amazing all natural cleaning products.  I recently came across and tried out Le Savonnier multi purpose soap.  The soap comes in Unscented, Lavender, Eucalyptus and Olive Oil scents.  It’s 100% natural and can be used in so many ways…. The natural soap cleans the honeydew deposited by aphids or white flies and sooty mold (black fungus growing on the honeydew). Our soaps are biodegradable and have no added colorants or solvents.  It can be used on plants (as a natural pesticide), as a laundry detergent, you can wash your pets in it, do the dishes or even clean the car.  Of course it works for household cleaning too 🙂
