This craft is SO easy and SO cute, you’re going to want to make a bunch. Easy enough for kids, fast enough to hold their attention and affordable too. These make great gifts or just a nice winter day activity.
I know this post is a little early for Valentine’s Day. However, I wanted to give you time to order the materials and put to together before the holiday.
Take note…all of the materials are from Blick Art Materials Not only do they have great prices, but they ship it right to your door. Place an order and have a it ready for a snow or rainy day with the kids!
They send me some materials to be able to create these projects for you. However, my opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.
All you need are the following:
Paper Mache letters….see all the available options here.
Yarn. You could use scraps you have, but it’s easier to get one color in bulk. Check out all the colors here.
Are you ready for how easy this is? Just affox the yarn on the back of the letter. I used scotch tape. Then, just wrap and wrap and wrap. Now you can keep the yarn flat and flush for a neater look or go wild and make it overlap. I did a little of both so you could see the difference.
When you’ve wrapped the whole letter, just tuck the yarn into itself on the back. So easy!
I wanted to give you another option for these awesome letters so I used some chalkboard paint to make it not only cute but functional. Give every family member their own letter and hang them above their hooks in your entryway or above their towels in the bathroom. Be creative with how you can use these to get organized! How would you use them? Tell me in the comments below!
