Business trips are one of those things people seem to love or hate. Sometimes you can have both emotion in the same trip. I travel for business at least once a month. Here are some of my tips to stay comfortable and organized on the go.
Please note this post is sponsored by HP. My opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way. This is advice from yours truly, designed to keep you organized while on the road.
1. Use down time at the airport and in flight to catch up on emails. Even if you don’t have Internet access you can usually reply and the emails will send once you are connected again. You’re stuck on the plane, so might as well use the time wisely. Even a short flight can give you enough concentrated and focused time to accomplish those tasks you’ve been putting off. Think about how amazing you will feel getting off the plane having been productive (and uninterrupted) for hours!
2. Just like you can catch up on work on the plane, make a plan to catch up on reading or movies in the hotel at night. Load your movies or reading materials onto the HP Pavilion x360 and when you’re exhausted from a day full of presentations…cuddle up with some popcorn, and a movie you’ve been anxious to watch. If you’re traveling for business without your family, this is also a great time to be uninterrupted 🙂 Flip the screen around and use it as a tablet for your own private movie theater. Oh and once you’re done relaxing, use the web cam to say hi to the family at home.
3. The graphics are awesome on the Pavilion x360. The tent option allows you to create a display screen easily and quickly. This is perfect for those on the go presentations when you just don’t want to bring a projector, remote or easel with you. You don’t have to lug around lots of gear and yet you still look polished and professional. That’s seriously a win-win.
4. Once you get home from your trip use the HP x360 to organize your photos. The touch screen makes it easy to edit and share. Use it in its stand mode to easily display a slide show to your family members who were stuck at home. (Leave out the photos by the pool!)
