I’m always looking for new products to help you get organized. I was recently at Michael’s craft store and I found these french fry containers. I was curious how I could use them so I picked up a pack. There were 10 in the package and it cost about $3. Here’s what I came up with…
My first thought was that these would make great containers to give kids craft supplies in. Instead of giving them the whole box of crayons, dish out a few in a container like this. This means there is less mess to clean up. These are great containers for little hands. If the container gets messy from the contents, just recycle it!
Do you carry snacks in the car, in your gym bag, or on the go? Give your kids a little assortment in a container like this. It makes everything look a little more fun and appetizing. It also allows you to carry snacks with you. Tuck in some grapes and carry them on the sidelines of a soccer game for example.
The label on this container is from bell’Invito. I love their labels as they are sophisticated AND allow you to label easily. I like that it has plenty of space to write.
All of those little tiny toys that are all over the floor? These containers are perfect for them! Check out these little “army guys” in a french fry container. Not only does the container hold them, it allows you to SCOOP them up off the floor!
All of those tiny little arts and craft supplies that seem to get everywhere?! Those are also perfect for these containers. I love these light weight containers that are perfect for tiny little hands. Scoop up beads, pom poms or rainbow bands in a french fry container and then toss the whole thing into a Ziploc bag or plastic shoe box. Clean up is quick and easy! (And maybe even a little fun!)
In my opinion, I saved the best for last….LEGOS! Not only do these little containers hold lots of little parts and pieces, they can scoop them up off the floor and into a larger bucket. This is a great way to get kids to participate AND to clean up quickly!
What would YOU use these containers for? Tell me in the comments below.
