Spring is around the corner. (I promise). It will be here before you know it. While you may be wishing for the days to be warmer and the days to be longer, there are a few things you can do now to enjoy spring just a little bit more. Here are my favorite things to do before spring starts…Use these last few days of winter wisely....and enjoy spring so much more because you did! Click To Tweet
All of those little organizing projects can get pushed to the side easily. Pick a project (or two) and tackle it while it’s still too cold to be outside. Here are some suggestions:
A book shelf
The junk drawer
While you may love reading on the beach, you’ll probably be more active in the spring and summer, leaving you less time to read. Now is the time to tackle that pile of magazines or books that you’ve been piling up. As you search around your home for something to read, you might pass up a few titles. If you don’t want to read it RIGHT now, you probably don’t really want to read it. It’s time to donate.
If you have lots of Pinterest ideas and haven’t yet made anything, now is the time. Pick a project, add the supplies to your shopping list, and schedule a time to make it happen. Pick a project that’s easy to do inside such as cooking. Save the projects with paint for the spring!
I know it’s called SPRING CLEANING. However, besides opening the windows, the cleaning has nothing to do with the warmer temperatures. I like to start my cleaning a little early and when the warmer temps roll in, I can head outside, guilt free. A great place to start is your bathrooms. They are usually the hardest to clean, make the biggest difference, and have no opening to the outside world.
Nothing cures those winter blues better than getting out there and helping someone less fortunate. Volunteering helps you get outside of your home and yourself.
Get a Manicure
A mani/pedi is something that people often associate with summer. However, after a whole winter of covering up your legs and arms, giving them a little attention is well deserved. Pamper yourself and spend a little time relaxing. Once spring arrives, your schedule will be full.
