April’s Favorite Things

Spring is here and it’s time for another roundup of my new favorite things.  This month I’m bringing you things that will make your every day life, a little more special.  This month it’s about treating yourself well.  Have something you love that helps you make even the busiest day better?  Tell us in the comments below!

Anxiety Aids

I’ve talked about planner stickers previously.  However, I just discovered Anxiety Aids.  Their line of stickers makes getting organized fun, and adorable!  I was lucky enough to see a LOT of their offerings…and they rock. I’m going to list some of them here, but you need to check out their Etsy store to see them all.  Sandwiches, donuts, garbage cans, washing machines, library books, doctor reminders, makeup brushes, and so much more.  These stickers not only decorate your planner, they remind you to do things….how many times have you forgotten it’s trash day?  Put these stickers on your planner and you’ll never forget.  Cleaning, laundry, and chores are way more fun when there’s a sweet litter sticker attached to the task!  I like that these allow my to do list to stand out and be read quickly and visually.  No more losing things in the massive lists I have!  Their stickers are so cute, and useful, you’ll want them all!

Shades of Grey

If you’re looking to try out grey in your home décor, but don’t know where to start, this is the book you’ve been looking for.  Shades of Grey decodes the color grey and all its possibilities.  From subtle to bold, grey can help you make any statement you seek.  The book is filled with stunning pictures of home ranging from contemporary to farmhouse, and grey is used in each.   This book will help you pick your shade of grey and use it effectively in your home.   Take the trial and error out of paint choices!  

Pouchee

Okay anyone who knows me knows I love purses. I love them just about as much as being organized. So when I was first told about Pouchee, I was excited. This product allows you to keep as of you small essentials (checkbook, credit cards, lip gloss, phone, etc) in all of its small compartments. It forces you to stay organized and return items to their given spots. The best part is yet to come however. You can then take your Pouchee from purse to purse! This allows you to switch purses quickly and easily and without forgetting anything! It is large enough to fit your essentials, but small enough to fit in most bags. It comes in a variety of colors so you can find one that will contrast with you purse lining.

This is going to be your new favorite store.  They are a boutique store dedicated to bringing you quality items, and sourcing them responsibly.  Their products have a causal, nautical feel that will make your home feel warm and cozy, all year round.  Just in time for spring, their Traveler Tote will go on any adventure you take.  A classic shape with reversible lining: flip inside out to create a whole new tote that showcases your high spirits.
