Fall Finds and Favorites

As fall arrives every year, I can’t help but feel like it’s the start of something new.  My parents were both teachers so September brought with it new beginnings and new routines.  I think that even as an adult, I look forward to this renewal and look for ways to make life just a little bit better going into fall.

Fall Favorites

Please note I received samples of some of these products in order to be able to write these reviews. My opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.  I only bring you products I’m actually using myself.

Fall Finds

Healthy Teeth=Healthy You

Your toothbrush is something you often overlook.  However, not only can it help you take good care of your teeth, the brush you chose can make a big difference on the environment, health, and wallet.   The Tour Travel Toothbrush by Radius is made in the USA, Vegan, BPA free, recyclable, and cruelty-free.  Of course, it’s also proven to take good care of your oral health.  Here’s what I love; the toothbrush folds up on itself so you can easily travel with it.  When three months have passed, you can simple replace the head of the toothbrush. This reduces waste AND cost.  This will be your go to brush.  Stock up for the whole family. They come in six colors.

Daily Delights

PipsticksOkay, I’ve seen a lot of products over the years and I’ve recently done posts on some amazing subscription boxes.  However, Pipsticks is one of my favorites.  Every month they deliver an envelope of unique stickers to your door!  This is an amazing clutter free gift for a child who loves to collect stickers or an adult who loves to use them.  I was amazed at the variety in the package.  There were even some speciality stickers….3D ones.  I loved using many of these on my agenda and calendar.  Super cute, affordable and so unique!

Breathe Deep

Fall is the perfect time to start over and start doing something you’ve had on that bucket list for a while.  I like to think of it as the second new year.  One of the things I’ve been MEANING to do is to start using essential oils again in my daily routine.  One of the reasons I’d stopped?  It wasn’t as easy to take them with me.  Along came Tazeka and they’ve made it easy again.  Their blends come in a 8ml container with a roller ball on top.  It’s easy to toss into your bag and use with you, anywhere you go.  Their blends are unique and amazing.  I was able to try Optimism, Balance, and Motivation.  They were all amazing.  Something I really love is that they go on easy, and aren’t overwhelmingly strong.  You can smell them, feel their benefits, and not feel like you’re a walking billboard for essential oils. Their oils are ethically harvested, and free of GMOs, Parabens, Mineral Oil and lots more.  These are a great investment in yourself and they make an amazing gift!

I Need Caffeine

It’s no secret that new moms need caffeine.  I’m no exception. My favorite type of coffee is available in the fall (pumpkin) and it leads to be carrying around a coffee mug with me all day long.  I’m on the go more than ever now, so I was thrilled to be able to try out this adorable travel mug from Aspen Lane. This stainless steel tumbler has a secure sealing lid and keeps my coffee warm, even when I get distracted with baby and forget all about it.  Available with lots of fun sayings on it, this is going to be your favorite mug and your favorite gift this coming holiday season.  Get yours here.

Get Nomadic

NomadikOkay I discovered the Nomadik subscription box when searching for a gift for a dear friend.  It was so awesome I had to share it with you.  The subscription box can be gifted as a one time gift, quarterly, or semi annually.  The box itself is full of awesome items to help you have the perfect outdoor adventure.  I was doubtful about how they would find items small enough to fit into an easily mailable box.  The box I received had five awesome items in it.  Each one of the items can be used almost immediately on our next hiking and or camping trip.  The items are high end, and real deal sized as well.  (No tiny products in this box!)  If you’re looking to build your supply closet of hiking supplies or searching for an amazing gift for the outdoor lover, I’ve make your day easier.  Take a peek and order here.  Use code JOYFUL for 15% off any package!

Wrap It Up

I hate wasting food, but I also hate using plastic wrap in my kitchen.  I won’t get into the reasons why, but it’s not a healthy way to wrap my healthy food, so I started searching for other options.  I came across Bee’s Wrap, a healthy, all natural alternative to plastic wrap.  The wrap is made of all natural materials including organic cotton, jojoba oil, beeswax, and tree resin.   Available in a variety of sizes, you can always wrap up what you’re looking to store easily.  It’s best for veggies, cheese, bread, and other snacks (not meat).  Simply use your hands to conform the wrap to the food, and then store.  Food stays fresh AND when you’re done, simply hand wash the wrap with dish soap, let it dry and you’ve ready to go again.  It saves the environment, money, and keeps your family healthy.  These is a great gift for someone starting out on their own or for the foodie in your life.  These will pay for themselves in no time!   Take a peek at the starter set I’m loving here.

Closet Workhorse

I love a piece of clothing that really pulls it’s weight in my wardrobe. Items that can be worn over and over again are the ones I keep around.  Let’s face it, getting dressed isn’t easy.  However, amazing pieces that are comfortable, stylish, and easy to care for make it easy, even on the busiest of mornings.  The slitback tank by Tjula is perfect for any day of the week.  Wear it to work under a blazer, or with a loose cardigan on the weekends.  It’s comfortable and just loose enough.  The double layers ensure you can’t see through it and the slit back adds a little flair to a white basic.  This piece is one you will grab over and over again. The neckline and armholes are modest so you can wear it anywhere, without worry of exposure.  I love pairing this with jeans, boots and a blazer.
