As Thanksgiving approaches, its time to start preparing your to do list. Sit down and write out everything you need to get done. Then sit down with your calendar and schedule each item. For example, if you need to shop, clean and cook, pick dates and times for each activity. Make a large list and share it with your family. Tell them what needs to be done. Just a little forethought and planning and can make the holiday go much more smoothly.
This is a great time to do the following:
Check on your plates, glasses and silverware. Do you have enough of each?
Send out invitations (if you haven’t already).
Check your pantry for what you already own.
Clean out the freezer and fridge so that you have room for the turkey and other supplies and then for the leftovers.
Check to see if you have enough chairs for guests.
Make your shopping list.
Plan the menu.
