The holidays are all about having fun with your family. Here are some cute projects you can do to surprise yours guests or plan to complete them with the kids who are coming to dinner.
These adorable cookies are really easy to make. A few candy adornments, some break and bake sugar cookies and some icing and you’re ready to go!
Braiding a pie crust is easier than you think. It’s a fast and free way to really make your pies stand out and look spectacular.
I do this for all sorts of holidays and celebrations at my house. I use clear vases and jars (of assorted shapes and sizes) and fill them with seasonal items. Pumpkins are great because they are seasonal, vary in color and are inexpensive to purchase. Candy makes a great filler too! If you’re looking for a more subdued look, use various colors of beans or popcorn kernels and add a candle on top.
These are a little more challenging and maybe something kids will need assistance with. There are lots of pieces to make sure you purchase. However, the end result is an adorable project that everyone can get involved in. You can even have a competition for the most creative cookie turkey 🙂
One of the easiest things you can do is add a ribbon to your silver ware. Even your day to day serving pieces will look elegant with a ribbon tied on them in the color of the season. This works for any holiday or celebration! Want to take it a step further? Take on an adornment such as a sunflower or candy cane.
