I’ve done posts like this before and they’ve been quite a hit. So, I wanted to share with you some items I found today (September 22, 2014) in Target’s Dollar Spot. Note, everything in the dollar section is NOT a dollar. Items range from $1-$3. They have some items that can help you get organized and do it without spending a lot of money. They also had lots of craft and seasonal items.
Here’s what I found, starting in the top left corner.
Magnetic Clips-Great to hold papers together, keep foods fresh, or even keep things like hair elastics together.
Mini Gel Pens-Awesome for working on the go! A great way to be able to color code without taking a whole set of full size pens.
Small Pail-I could have bought all of these. So many colors and patterns! Awesome for small toys, pencils and even (my personal use) granola bars.
Small glass jar. Get all of those paper clips, thumb tacks and elastics off the bottom of your desk drawer and into jars.
Large Clips-Put these on tops of files that need attention and you’ll never let things slip between the cracks again. I also like them to mark the page of my planner so I can open it quickly.
Command Hooks-You know I could go on and on about these. Hang things anywhere with no worry about the surface.
Small mesh basket-Great for batteries, coins or chap sticks. Anything that usually “escapes” and finds it’s way to the bottom of the drawer.
Lists-You can never have too many to do lists!
Tie and Belt Rack-Use your hanging space to keep ties and belts OFF the floor and in sight.
Clipboard-Keep your to do lists where you can see them. Using a clipboard also makes them portable. Grab and go and work anywhere!
4 Compartment Storage-Put a few day’s worth of pills or vitamins in this and same a small amount of time every day. You can also use these for bringing a small amount of sunblock, shampoo, etc on a plane.
