When I adopted my first dog I was worried about the prospect of having to clean up fur, messes and the dust that came with owning a pet. I’d never had a dog before (even growing up) and I had no idea what to expect. I spent a lot of time researching food, supplies like leashes and collars and dog beds. However, I also did a lot of research on cleaning products. This may strike you as odd. However, I wanted to make sure that I could keep up with the mess my dog would create.

I quickly found out that Swiffer made my life easier and my home cleaner with very little effort. Swiffer Dusters have 50% more fibers than other dusters and they catch an amazing amount of dust and fur with with every swipe. I love to keep these in various spots around my home and wipe down any dusty surfaces as I see them. It’s quick and easy, and effective.
Swiffer Sweeper allows me to clean the floor, both wet and dry. When cleaning with the dry cloth dirt, dust and hair are trapped easily as it conforms to your floor. I have tile and hardwood floors and it does a great job on both. When using it as a wet option, dirts is washed away without a lot of elbow grease and it leaves behind a perfectly clean floor.IMG_4895.MOV
This holiday season Swiffer and BarkBox are combatting the shed and overcoming all of the concerns about the mess a new pet can create. This December new pet parents who adopt through a chosen shelter will get a kit filled with goodies designed to make their new pet’s homecoming seamless, fun, and clean!
So what’s inside the box? So many goodies it’s hard to list. However, here they are: A coupon for a free Swiffer Sweeper Starter Kit, Swiffer Sweeper Dry Refill Kit, Swiffer Duster, coupon for a free Febreze product, Bark Toy, Bark Treat, Fresh Chicken Recipe Food Sample and Food Coupon, and a Welcome Home Guide featuring information from child development expert, Dr. Aubrey Fine, on the benefits of a pet for children and info from the Bark folks to make the adoption transition easier for pets.
Here’s a video of me dropping off one of these very special boxes to my local animal shelter, R.O.A.R.
