So as you’ve seen lately, I’ve been crafting a lot with leather (and faux leather). I was thinking about something else to make and I wanted to make something for markers. Now you could also use this for makeup brushes, paint brushes, or even pens and pencils!
What you’ll need:
A piece of leather (mine was faux and about 12×10 inches)
A sharp craft knife
A safe surface to cut on
Ribbon in your choice of color (about ten inches in length)
So,you’re going to be SO shocked at how easy this is. Lay the leather down and measure out where you want the slits to be. Then make a 1/2 inch slit on your marks. About 1/2 inch below your original cut, make another identical cut.
This is what it looks like from the back side. Slide your markers into the slots and then roll it up.
Tie it with a ribbon and you’re set to go.
This makes an adorable pencil pouch for your child, or something amazing to bring all of your office supplies with you on the go. Customize it with your choice of ribbon and color of leather!
