I get asked a lot what I keep in my cosmetics bag. What do I travel with and use daily? Well here it is! These are the products that work for me. I’ve tried a lot and these are the ones that are most effective and have stuck around in my bag and been replaced over and over again. What do you love? Let me know!
I have a bag that I got for free from Clinique…I love it because it opens wide and the bright pattern makes it easy for me to see in a larger bag.
I don’t wear a lot of lipstick. But I do like Nars’ Lip Pencils. They are small, durable and I can easily carry a few with me in different colors to make sure I’m prepared for any occasion.
Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara is a new cult favorite and it does everything they say it does. I love it because it makes even tired, jet-lagged eyes look good.
I have a confession, I have this Tarte Cosmetics eyeliner in every color they sell. It’s gentle, effective and goes on (and comes off) easily. LOVE it.
The small Tarte box is a set of eye shadows in complimenting colors. This makes it easy to get made up on the go. I usually use my finger to apply. (I know that makeup lovers just gasped.) They don’t sell this kit anymore, but I love that their eye shadow stays on and doesn’t irritate my eyes.
To take it all off I use Caudalie’s Make-Up Remover Cleansing Water. It takes off everything, including eye makeup and leaves your skin feeling amazing. This is a travel size you see here.
I love products that do more than one task. Miracle Skin’s Transformer is a moisturizer, sunblock, and tinted cream that works great as a base layer. I wear it every day on the go. It avoids forgotten sunblock later on too! I can wear this all day and feel great.
If you’re on a desert island, bring RMS Beauty’s Living Luminizer with you. It’s a moisturizer, an it gives you a healthy glow that makes you look rested and happy. It’s not glittery like some other luminizers I’ve used either. Again, it feels great on. Tuck this into your purse and use it before a meeting or before you meet friends for coffee. A little goes a long way.
Dior’s Addict Lip Glow is amazing. It replaces moisture lost on road trips or plane rides, it gives you a healthy glow and it gives you a polished look without looking too made up. I carry this with me everywhere and use it a little too often
