35 Easy Ways To Spread Kindness

There’s a saying about too much of a good thing. Well I disagree with it. I don’t think you can have too much kindness. You never know how hard someone else’s life is or what kind of day they are having. I do know that we can all use a little more kindness in our lives. There are some simple and inexpensive or free ways you can spread kindness today. Let me know what you’d add to this list!

35 Easy Ways to Spread Kindness

1. Give up your seat to someone on a bus, subway or train.

2. Ask how someone is doing and really listen when they answer.

3. Say thank you to someone who is doing a hard job, and mean it. Do you know how many people grab their coffee and run? A lot. Wouldn’t you like to be thanked for working hard?

4. Pay for the person’s meal behind you in line at the drive through.

5. Pay for the coffee of the person in line behind you.

6. Tip well.

7. Put a grocery cart away where it belongs.

8. Volunteer for an hour.

9. Deliver baked goods to your local fire department or animal shelter.

10. Drive someone to an appointment.

11. Call someone who needs cheering up.

12. Help someone carry their grocery bags.

13. Run an errand for someone.

14. Cook a meal for someone.

15. Buy movie tickets for someone who needs a break.

16. Help your child’s teacher by buying them a gift card for supplies for volunteering in the classroom.
