If you’re a coffee lover (and who isn’t?), there are a lot of ways you can get your fix. While I love coffee house drinks, they can be costly. I prefer to make my morning cup at home to save time and money. Keeping all of the accessories in order can be a challenge. I wanted to share my techniques and tools with you to help you streamline your mornings.
Please note I received samples of some of these items in order to be able to test them for this post. My opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way. I only bring you products I love.
Want to streamline your morning coffee (or tea) routine? These are the tools you'll need. Click To TweetI love this stack of mugs. They are oversized, bright and colorful and the whole stack takes up a very small footprint on my counter. I received these as a gift. However, you can find lots of stacking options out there.
There are lots and lots of ways to organize coffee pods. Two of my favorites are simply using a glass jar like this one, and dumping the pods in. It’s a statement on your counter and is whimsical. Or, you can do a more organized route and use a specifically designed organizer like this coffee pod drawer from Honey Can Do. This awesome drawer fits under your Keurig and holds 36 cups at a time. It’s sleek design is surprisingly sophisticated. It’s easy to clean and the drawer slides smoothly.
I also love using a tray. The one you see here I’ve had for a few years and bought from West Elm. I like using a tray so that I can keep everything in one spot; honey sticks, sugar, and so on. I love that it keeps everything in one place and if I have company over, I can simply pick it up and put it out on the kitchen table or even the coffee table. The tray is also easily washable and instead of having to remove everything from the counter, the tray just takes a quick wash in the sink.
I like using the Keurig because it’s fast and easy. There’s almost no clean up and the the accessories needed are minimal. In fact, you only need the Keurig brewer and the appropriate pods. The Keurig 2.0 holds 40 ounces of water so you don’t need to fill it every day. The screen is easy to see and easy to use. My favorite part is that you can choose the strength of your coffee. If I have guests over, everyone can pick their own flavor and strength of coffee. (This is perfect when I have my strong coffee drinking mother in law over.) You can even make a carafe of coffee with this brewer! Oh and the model I have is available in SEVEN colors. I also appreciate that its footprint is small….it’s worth its weight in gold and is worth every inch of counter space.
Since I’m also a tea lover, and the Keurig can provide hot water on demand, I wanted to introduce you to another product that will make your life easier. If you love loose leaf tea, you’re going to love the Libre tea mug. I was able to try out the 9 ounce mug and it fits perfectly in cup holders. It’s made up of glass and plastic for a combination of non toxic materials and durability. The cup keeps your tea warm and separates the tea leaves from your water for easy drinking. This cup makes drinking loose leaf tea, hot or cold, easy on the go. And Libre Tea is also giving away one of their awesome mugs. (You get to choose which one!) Enter below…
