Making Your Home Work For You

September 3, 2019 • Uncategorized

We’re all busy. It’s a fact of life….the to do list is longer than we can ever accomplish. So how do you dig out and make yourself feel a little bit more in control? As an organizer, a mom and someone who likes my sanity, I look for ways to make my home work for me.

You Know Nothing

The first thing you need to know is that you don’t have to know anything. Best Buy does all the thinking for you. They have consultants who can come to your home and give you a FREE technology consultation. Seriously….you don’t know what you’re missing if you haven’t done this yet. Learn about the Best Buy in home consultation program here.

Get Smart

If you don’t already have one, get a smart doorbell. Yesterday. I thought this was a total novelty, until I had one. Now I can see when and where packages are delivered. I can see who comes and goes from my home. I can even see my dogs outside. It gives me total peace of mind, even when I’m sitting in my office and hour away.

Wicked Wifi

There’s nothing worse than bad internet signal. If you have a family of five, and everyone is using a phone, watching TV or playing a game, you could easily have 20 devices hooked up to your signal at one time. (I only have a family of three and when I started to count the devices using up bandwidth I was amazed!) Eero’s little gem of a device will help you maximize your internet and keep the whole family moving along at the speed of your life.

Heat It Up Baby

I know what you’re thinking….how can an oven help me be more organized? Well, if your oven cooked dinner in less time wouldn’t that be a big win? Invest in your home and you’ll be thrilled at the dividends. GE’s new range is sophisticated looking too!

There is a saying, “What gets written down gets attended to, and what gets attended to gets done.”

Write down your organizing goals and hold yourself accountable for completing them.

I know it seems like a big chore, but you’ll be glad you did it once you’re done!
