The bathroom is the one spot in the house that everyone seems to dread cleaning. No one really minds sweeping the floor or emptying the dishwasher, but when it comes to the bathroom, no one is volunteering.
It doesn’t have to be hard or time consuming, especially if you keep up with it every week. Here’s my fool proof way to clean the bathroom quickly and easily.
1. Put toilet bowl cleaner in the toilet.
2. Spray the shower with cleaner (I use my own mixture of vinegar and water).
3. Put away clutter from the vanity-put in its place in the medicine cabinet, under the sink etc.
4. Spray mirror and sink.
5. Remove dirty towels and shake out bathmat.
6. Fill containers suck as qtips, hand soap and toothpaste.

7. Wipe down sink and mirror. (Make sure to remove tooth brushes first.) Mirror first so there is less dust and dirt on your cloth.
8. Wash out the interior of your toothbrush holder. (It gets GROSS!)
9. Replace toothbrushes as necessary.
10. Wash the toilet.
11. Dust surfaces such as the back of the toilet, top of the medicine cabinet, etc.
12. Wipe down the floor. If it’s a small space, a rag will do this quickly. If it’s a larger space grab a wet mop.
13. Wash out the shower. I sometimes like to do this from inside the shower. Use an old toothbrush, hard bristled brush, Magic Eraser or sponge to do this. Have a little tool kit ready to go so this is easy to do every week.
14. Empty the trash from the space.
If you move quickly and let the cleaning agents sit and work while you attack some of the less dirty spots, you will be able to do this quickly and effectively every week. Set a timer and challenge yourself!
