Okay this month’s craft project is so easy it’s insane. However, it’s also really awesome. I’m in love with it and kind of addicted to making them.
I bought my supplies at Fusion Beads. They have good prices and reasonable shipping. However, I’m sure you could find these items at your local craft store.
First I bought some silver hoops. Simple hoops in a medium size. Since I’m giving some of these as gifts, I didn’t want to make them too big.
I also bought seed beads. I emailed Fusion Beads to double check that these would fit on the earrings. I chose a turquoise color but you can do these in multiple colors with lots of different beads.
Then, you simply feed the beads onto the earrings until you have the quality desired. It was hard to decide how many to put on but I played it by ear.
Then, you simply bend the top of the earring with needle nose players so it stays closed and can be worn. Easy, inexpensive and pretty! I put them on a card I printed out from How About Orange. I punched holes in the cards and linked the earrings through.
Let Me Know: What craft projects would you like us to tackle? What color beads would you make these earrings in?
