I’m really happy to be able to share this event with you. World Vision and Thirty One Gifts are teaming up to make a difference.
The third annual Giving Tuesday is taking place on December 2nd. The holiday season bring about thoughts of buying and receiving, this year, think a little about giving and December 2nd is the perfect time.
World Vision bring sponsors and donors alongside children and communities in nearly 100 countries. They have helped over 1,650 communities and they have sponsored over 4.3 million children.
So how can you help? On Giving Tuesday, make a donation to World Vision, and for the first 3,100 donations made, Thirty-One Gifts will donate a Hope Kit. Each Hope Kit is filled with hygiene supplies for a woman or girl in need in the U.S. It’s hard to believe that sometimes right next door, someone may be lacking the supplies they need for basic hygiene.
Each Hope Kit is a beautifully packed kit filled with items that will not only help the recipient take care of themselves, but develop self esteem and present themselves to the world for success. I received a kit to take a peek at and it’s full of supplies that may seem simple, but really mean the difference between feeling great about yourself and feeling self conscious. The bag is something any girl would be proud to carry to school, camp or the gym.
