Spring is a great time of year to refresh your wardrobe. While your first instinct might be to run out and buy all the new trends, I want you to stop and think about what you already own. Onzie is one of my favorite brands. Their gear always keeps me comfy, cool and looking good. The reason I love it so much is that it’s versatile. I can wear it to yoga, spin or out for a run. No specialty items needed! These clothes are so soft you’re going to want to wear them all the time.
I was able to try out two new items from the Fly High line. The Onzie Glossy Flow tank looks great on and covers everything you want it to….even in headstand! It flows well and it’s and soft. I love wearing it to bed, and I even wore it once under a blazer (shhhh, don’t tell anyone!). The vanilla is just the right color for spring!
The Onzie Capri is a classic. I’ve had a pair for years and I still love them. They feel SO good on! I was able to try them in tie-dye…on trend for the spring. They are just bright enough…if you know what I mean. I love wearing them to yoga to spice things up. You can bend, invert, and run in these and they won’t fall down, bunch up or bind you….no more pulling at your leggings…yeah, you know what I mean.
Nothing perks up a wardrobe like a new accessory. MY new favorite is Alaina Marie’s bait bag clutch. It’s large enough to fit LOTS of stuff inside and light enough to take with you anywhere. I love the unique bait bag material that’s durable, adorable and unique. The bag comes in lots of different colors….my favorite is pink and navy. Even the inside of this bag makes me happy (it’s bright pink). These bags are hand sewn in Portland, Maine. Grab one, they’ll be super popular soon.
If you’re looking for an amazing and unique gift for mom, check out the purses at Pisida. My favorite is the Mini Leather Clamshell. It has leather handles and a leather base for durability as well as a double zip closure for security. I love the little feet on the bottom so nothing gets it dirty. The colors are stunning and its unusual shape makes this a statement piece. The colors it is available in are perfect for the summer months, but it’s available in classics that can be used all year through as well. This is a gift she’ll use for years to come.
An amazing headband adds pop to any outfit, even jeans and a white tee shirt. In my opinion, Pistil Design’s headbands are the best there are. They are comfortable to wear, (no headaches), but they stay on all day. You can even wash them if you need to. The patterns are seasonal, stylish and there’s enough of them to match any outfit you can come up with. Here are two of my favorites….The Bonnie headband (yes, I know, it’s an awesome name), is made of tee shirt material and comes in four tie dye colors. This is the perfect summer compliment. Even by the pool this is an amazing accessory. The Deliah headband has a vintage inspired flower pattern on it and is the perfect compliment to a sundress, or your yoga wear…you pick! You’ll want more than one, I promise. This is a cost effective and clutter effective way to spruce up your summer wardrobe!
The Trapeze Dress with Pockets from Michael Stars is going to be your new summer staple. The dress is made of a breathable material and has a relaxed fit. The dress is great for a day at the beach, but it’s also great for a day at the office. Wear it with heels or sandals…throw on a blazer or a loose cotton cardigan. This can be dressed up or down and either way, you’ll look and feel great all summer long. I haven’t taken it off since it arrived. I love Michael Stars for all my staples…looking good but still feeling comfortable and cozy all day long.
