My first love was a label maker. Seriously. My parents had a Dymo labeler (like the one below) that I was obsessed with. The tape was green and probably wasn’t that easy to come by. (This was before internet ordering!) You had do dial up each and every letter and then SQUEEZE as hard as my little hands could in order to imprint the letter onto the tape. Cutting the tape was the same way, then you could affix the tape to anything you wanted. I labeled the appliances, my toys, the bathroom and even people if they were willing.

As time has gone on, the label makers have changed and advanced. However, my love of labeling hasn’t faded. Labeling is the best way to let everyone in a space know where items are stored. Doing this allows quick and easy put away. Using labels in a classroom helps students reading comprehension and spacial recognition. If you use labels on toy bins for pre-reading age kids, they will learn to recognize the words over time and associate it with the items inside.
Never leave home without a labeler. Never heard that one before? Well now you know 🙂 Brother’s P-Touch Home and Office Labeler will not only keep you organized, but will keep all of your items clearly labeled from roommates or classmates. Labeling notebooks and binders can make staying organized easier. Add a label to your lunch box, water bottle and even sports gear. Never lose anything at the gym again with the awesome label options. I love the fun color label tapes you can get. Perfect for anyone’s taste. More importantly, the tapes are sturdy and stay on where they are placed.
The tape accessory options are pretty endless….large and small, tape and writing colors…..you’ll be able to label everything uniquely! I label just about everything. It may sounds extreme. However, I’m never sifting through folders or pouches guessing what’s inside. SO, it’s a win in my book.
I guess you could call this my grown up love 🙂
