Gift Guide

November 23, 2015 • Gift Giving Tips, Holiday Organization Tips, Holiday Organizing Tips

Checking off everyone on your gift list doesn’t have to be stressful.  I always prefer clutter free gifts that are consumable, useable or gift an experience.  However, sometimes, a wrappable gift is preferred. For those circumstances, I wanted to give you some suggestions of items that will please anyone and help you stay within budget.

I've gathered some of my favorite items here. I think you'll find something for everyone on this list. Click To Tweet

Please note I received samples of some of these items in order to be able to write these reviews.  My options are my own and were not influenced in any way.  I’m only bringing you products I love.

Gift Guide

For a gift that will make someone happy for 101 days, take a peek at 101 Smiles Make a Sunshine.  It’s a gift book that becomes a sculpture.  Every day write down something that’s make you happy.  Then, fold the page.  At the end of the 100 days, when you open the book, you have a shining sun.  It’s a neat gift to give with a super important message.   They also have another book called 101 Joys Make a Rainbow.  Give someone both for almost a full year of memory making.

If you have a lovely lady on your list or a hard to shop for teenager, check out Brave Chick’s Endless Love Hoop Earrings.  Filled with gold they are an endless hoop that fits through your ear.  They are a stunning statement that’s lightweight and easy to wear.  You’ll get a lot of compliments on these!  They are fun for every day or perfect for a night out.

When your hectic day winds down, nothing feels better than putting your feet up and relaxing to your favorite tunes. Now you can rely on Yoobi’s blue over ear headphones to do the trick with its adjustable headband for a comfy fit and foldable compact design for easy carrying, so you can vibe out in style! You buy, Yoobi gives – For every Yoobi item you purchase, a Yoobi item will be donated to a classroom in need, right here in the U.S.  These are amazing for everyone on your list and they are affordable!

Three by Three Notebook NecklaceIn the 1990’s Three by Three Seattle released this book necklace.  They are bringing it back today and it’s sure to please once again.  Perfect for the book lover, or someone who wants to have their to do list close by, it’s adorable, useful and sweet.  Available in gold or silver this is a gift that’s under $10.  It’s perfect for just about any age.  This also makes a great teacher gift!

Give a gift that gives back! Hydro Flask’s 16 oz True Pints are made from 18/8 food-grade stainless steel and the double wall vacuum provides top-notch insulation power. Hydro Flask is proud that all of its products are BPA-free, 100% recyclable and are backed by a lifetime warranty. Gift givers can also feel great about their purchase as the company gives 5% of its net profits to 12 different non-profits through its charitable arm 5% back. These are useful, adorable and durable!  I thought I would use them for on the go or camping only but they are perfect for a rowdy party, outside or even picnics!

If you have someone in your live who loves nautical items, or lobster, or jewelry, I have a gift idea for you. Lobster Bracelet  Okay, I really think everyone would love to receive this bracelet 🙂  It’s made to look like the measuring tool that lobstermen use to ensure lobsters are the correct size to keep and sell.  It’s handmade in Maine out of brass and can be engraved with almost anything you want.  These are lightweight to wear, comfortable and they look amazing on your wrist.  This is a great gift to give anyone who loves something unique or made in the USA.  Check out their whole selection in their Etsy store!

The Arc system is a DIY notebook.  You purchase the style of paper you want, the notebook cover (and back) that you want, and then there are specialty inserts available.  The notebook is put together with a set of rings.  You can simply pop the accessories and papers onto the rings.  Extra rings are available as well.  (In cool colors!)

I do a lot of list making and writing.  I have a lot of ideas, blog posts, and projects going at one time, all the time.  As things are published, completed or abandoned, I like to tear the pages out.  With a traditional notebook, this kind of leaves me with a mess.  With the Arc system, the pages come out without fuss.  I used the dividers to create groups for my blog, videos, other projects, and lists.  I use the small list pad to write down my daily goals.  These are grown up notebooks.  They come in a variety of colors and textures.  My fave is the Burgundy Notebook, perfect for the holidays!

If you’re looking for an inspirational book check out Chicken Soup for the Soul’s newest release, Think Possible.  It’s filled with tales of over coming adversity, turning bad times into good and making the best of every single day.  I like that it can be read in short segments, in between meetings and everything else going on in a busy schedule. It’s moving and I warn you, it will cause inspiration.

For a gift that does good and STILL gives the recipient something to open, try Faith Box.    Each box contains favorite scriptures, inspirational quotes, and seasonal prayers – all centered around a unique monthly theme.  These aren’t your average goods.  Everything is made ethically, is eco-friendly, and is good for the soul. Every box that you purchase feeds a child-in-need through our Rice Bowls partnership! Plus, many of the products are from companies who match the purchases made with an equivalent donation to a worthy cause.  The box I received had a snack bar (yummy!), a candle, a lip balm, a full length book and the daily devotional.  It’s a great way to do good and gift.

If you have a baseball lover on your list, take a peek at the amazing artwork by S. Preston.  His Minimalist Baseball Stadium Series make amazing gifts and they are clutter free.  (They hang on the wall!).  Available in stadiums all over the country, with names and without.  These are colorful, fun, whimsical and just what you need for those hard to shop for people on your list!
