Favorite Things – March Edition

March Favorite ThingsSpring is coming.  However, it’s still chilly outside and I like to use this time before the temps rise to make a final indoor organization push.  This month I wanted to bring you a few products that can help you make those positive changes before spring arrives.  (And once it does you won’t want to be inside organizing!)

Before spring fully arrives, it's time to get organized. This month I'll help you make positive changes wth these products.. Click To Tweet

Please note I received samples of some of these items in order to write this review.  My opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.  I only bring you products I love.

Culinary Corner

Baking Mat and SpatulasCulinary Corner’s baking mats may not seem like an organizing tool.  However, putting these down on a cookie sheet before you start baking, is an invaluable time saver.  I use these when I’m baking cookies to make removing them easy and quick. However, these are also amazing under a chicken pot pie.  Instead of scraping the cookie sheet clean or having to soak it in the sink, I simply wipe this non stick mat down in the sink and in a few minutes, dinner cleanup is complete.

These aren’t normal spatulas…these are organized spatulas….

You can actually remove the paddle on these spatulas to clean them thoroughly.  You can also pop them in the dishwasher!  I also believe that items of a unique color, like these, are easier to find in a bin or drawer, therefore making food prep faster.  I love that these come in a set of three so you have enough on hand, even if you’re doing a whole day of cookie.  My favorite aspect is that each handle has a hold so you can hang it on a hook

Modern Pastoral

Modern Pastoral is an amazing book that will not only serve as inspiration, but become a favorite coffee table book. This book helps you embrace and learn the trend of rustic charm in any home.  The photography is stunning and the book covers a variety of homes and tastes, so you’re sure to find something that will work for you.  Even if you don’t want to embrace a complete rustic theme, Modern Pastoral will help you choose elements that make a big impact and make your home unique.

Halfpops

Halfpops are my new favorite snack.  I’m addicted seriously.  They should start a support group.  Half pops are partially popped kernels of corn.  Each bag has a distinctive flavor….my favorite is Angry Kettle Corn.  (Yes, that’s as amazing as it sounds.)  These are perfect to snack on not only because they are amazingly delicious, but they are full of fiber, so you stay full longer.  They are also gluten and nut free. They have no trans fat, no corn syrup, no hydrogenated oils, and no no preservatives.

Nonna’s Box

Puglia_BoxI love a good subscription box.  They are fun to open and discover new products every month.  Nonna Box is not only fun, it’s consumable and useful.  Oh, and delicious!  Each month’s box is filled with Italian treats dedicated to helping you cook authentic Italian meals (and snacks) at home.  The items included are authentic, and truly unique.  These are items you aren’t going to be able to find at your local grocery store.  These are boutique or specialty store items, delivered to your door step.  Have a loved one who lives far away?  Give them a home cooked Italian meal every month!

Force of Nature

This might be my favorite house hold cleaning product all year.  Force Of Nature is a cleaning system that allows you to turn electricity, salt, water, and vinegar,  into electrolyzed water.  What you don’t know about electrolyzed water is that it’s a natural disinfectant as effective as bleach.  Electrolyzed water is simple chemistry where salt and water are processed at a low level of electricity, which changes the solution’s chemical composition into a super safe all-purpose cleaner, deodorizer and disinfectant. However, it’s safe for your home, and even little hands.  Here’s how the system works; fill the bottle with water, then pour in one of the small included packets (containing the salt and vinegar).  Attach the bottle to the unit, which you plug in and turn it on.  In six minutes, you have a bottle of natural cleaning solution that you can use any where in your home.  Not only is this a safer way to clean your home, it saves money, and the environment.

Lite Gear Mobile Pro

I just found your new favorite travel buddy.  Lite Gear’s Mobile Pro pack has every bell and whistle you can think of.  First of all, you can carry this bag four different ways; cross-body, backpack, on top of a rolling bag, or a handle at the top.  The bag is big enough to fit a variety of items…everything you’ll need for your trip.  However, it’s small enough so that you don’t have to check it.  The bag even expands up to 35% of it’s size.  So when you’re on your trip and those clothes have magically expanded (they always do), you still have space to make it home.  I love that the bag is lightweight.  You can pack it full and the bag itself isn’t adding any extra weight. It’s made of recycled plastic bottles!  The pockets help you keep things organized and easily accessible.  Here’s what really makes the bag awesome; a RFD compartment to keep your info safe, a light so you can see what you’re searching for, a container for your cords, another one for your tablet and even one for your toiletries.  The bag makes traveling easy and makes staying organized while on the go, even easier.   Want even more organization while you travel?  Check out their travel clothes line.  Bring less clothes, and wash them on the go!  Their Kompressor Cube will allow you to pack items and then reduce their size by almost half.

 Sunny Labels Stickers

If you’re looking for a way to add some sunshine to your day AND get organized, these stickers are just the thing.  They come in an adorable book that will take up almost no room at all on your desk or book shelf.  The various sheets inside the books are filled with stickers to make you smile, labels for just about anything, and even book plates.  This is a great way to get kids to organize, but it’s also a great way to label and still look sophisticated.  I love these around springtime as they brighten up anything you use them on, and you’ll never lose things again.
