What Parents Value Most

November 22, 2016 • Kids, Reviews

You all know by now that I’m a new parent.  While I wouldn’t by any means call myself experienced, I am learning the ropes, a little bit more every single day.  When you’re at home washing bottles, feeding baby, and changing diapers, it’s easy to forgot that there are other parents, just like you out there, fighting the same battles every single day.

“This review was made possible by iConnect and Luvs.  I was provided compensation to facilitate this post, but all opinions stated are 100% mine.”

What Parents Value Most

So here I am, after two months of being a parent, sharing some of the things I’ve learned with you.  I can’t tell you if these lessons will hold true over time, or even tomorrow.  However, these are things that work for me, today.  They save me time so that maybe, just maybe, I can get a few minutes to myself.

Group Activities Together

When baby first came home from the hospital, I found myself running all over the house, literally.  I’d start laundry, then race back to the nursery to get more clothes…then back to the kitchen with dirty bottles, and so on and so on.  I was crossing the house dozens of times and wasting time and energy.  Now, I start in one room, focus on the tasks there and move on only when they are completed.

Absorbant Diapers

luvs_w_nightlock_plus_pack_shot_1_720There’s not much worse than a leaky diaper.  It’s enough to ruin everyone’s day..and possibly the clothing that baby was wearing.  Luvs recently introduced the new and improved Luvs Ultra Leakguard Diapers with NightLock Plus™. Softer and more absorbent than before*, with large stretch tabs for easy fastening, ultra-leakage protection and a money-back guarantee, Luvs provide features babies and parents need for less cost than premium brands.

Good Food

A good meal can make all the difference between your day feeling out of control and feeling awesome.  Use meal delivery services or grocery delivery services to assist yourself in getting healthy food on the table in the evening and into your belly.  If all else fails, have takeout menus on hand with a few dollar bills ready for tips.

What’s Important To You?

Luvs took a survey of parents and asked them what’s most important to them.  Want to know what they found?  Check out the infographic below:
